"What's for Dinner at Deering?"
The Deering Wine Family is overjoyed to have found an amazing chef, Luz Quiroz, for all our catered events. She has been preparing some of the most delicious meals we have ever seen and tasted. So much so, that Todd has started photographing these lovely creations so you can savor the sights of the dishes right along with us!
A little about Luz:
Luz Quiroz, originally from Columbia, has been a professional chef for more than 20 years, much of her career spent in Palm Beach, FL. Her clients include Rush Limbaugh & the Swarovski Family. She has also worked for the United States Air Force, traveling to Spain as not only a culinary instructor but a translator as well. This led to her working for the Navy's MSC branch. She has cooked in Dubai, Amsterdam, Guam, Mariana Islands, and all over Japan including Singapore and Jusco. Luz has always had a natural ability to prepare great food, though her inspiration to make it her career path came when she was with her first husband, an art collector. They would attend amazing parties where Luz became filled with the desire to create delicious food like what she was tasting at these events.

- 1 wine glass
- 1 bottle of 2009 Zinfandel, Maus Vineyard
- 1 bowl of fruit
- 1 beautiful afternoon
- 1 lounge chair
Take 1 lounge chair, and strategically place it outdoors during 1 beautiful afternoon. Take your dominant hand and pour 1 bottle of 2009 Zinfandel, Maus Vineyard into 1 wine glass. Place bottle down (within an arm's reach). Take 1 bowl of fruit into other hand. Enjoy.
